What do you get if you cross gorgeous sandy beaches, turquoise waters and svelte men and women? You wouldn’t think the answer would be an airline safety video, would you?
Anyone who’s read my blog for a long time knows how much I love New Zealand – I even started my round-the-world trip there! And en route to the fabulous country, we stopped over in Fiji. Now, although I’ve never been to the Cook Islands, which is the chosen location for this safety video, I would like to think that Fiji gave me a little glimpse of what paradise is like. And after seeing this preview for the video, shot using locals in Rarotonga and some of the stunning girls from the Sports Illustrated magazines, it definitely makes me want to book a trip there.
This safety video marks 50 fantastic years for Air New Zealand, and after seeing all of these beautiful people and beautiful beaches, it makes me wonder why I’ve never flown with them to paradise before! Maybe I need to get my bikini body in check before I do? 😉
I can’t wait to see the final version of the video – I’m sure it’ll be funny and sexy all rolled into one. But I’m sure it will also hammer home the message that Air New Zealand is a brand to trust. With a great safety record, they want to show their customers that they can have fun, too!
